MY THIRD TRY RECYCLING THIS DUNGAREE DRESS / by Ansu Visser

I've posted about this Dungaree dress in February. I added and took away from it and posted about it again in March to show you how you can create a new outfit without buying one. And I'm posting about this dungaree dress for the third and final time to show you how one item can bring three different outfits that can be worn through the transitions of seasons, moods and dress codes.

The saying: "there is more to this than meets the eye", is definitely true for this dungaree dress.

In February, I wore it as is and it was perfect for summer days and classy nights. Looking at the dungaree dress by itself, it would seem to be something for summer and only for summer. But, throw on a jacket, take the inspo from March's Dungaree outfit to April, change that short shirt to a long one and you got another fall fashion.

Last week, I described the in-between phase of fall fashion and how I tried to find an outfit that you can ONLY wear in the fall. no add-ons or take-aways

Only after taking the photos did I realize this is another fall fashion. The lovely sandals are a dead give away because nobody shows their toes in the middle of winter if you want to keep them.

Fall days seem to be the very meaning of the word "indecisive". This outfit fits perfectly into those hot-cold days. It's still cool enough to wear when the sun decides to come out and the temperature has a surprising 5-minute peak in celcius, and warm enough for the unexpected downfall in temperature that soon follows.

This will be the last "throwback" to this dungaree with reference to recycling old outfits to create new ones. The seasons are changing and my weird belief in the rule of three's (if it's done three times then it is DONE) makes me feel that this outfit has served its purpose.

From February till now, I hope to have shown you that one item can be more than what you think and that it all depends on the way you style it. This dungaree has been styled to be casual cool and high-tea vibes. It's also something that you can wear through Summer to Fall (I believe winter too, but like I said, three times then it's done).

But this means one thing, next month there will be a new item to be recycled for the next three months! #excited
